This page is inspired by the council's own bid to compare figures on parking in nearby towns.
Visitors can park all day in Chichester for £2.50 (£1.20 on a Saturday in the West Sussex County Council grounds) or in Haywards Heath (£2) and stay all day.
They can smply fill up the boots of thier cars, and then shop, and then relax, and have lunch, and then... well, the choice is theirs.
Or come to Horsham and do the same thing for £7, or get it wrong for a minute over three hours or five hours, and face a £60 parking fine.
One could wonder just who pays Horsham district councillors' salaries - perhaps the residents and businesses in Chichester and Haywards Heath, who are benefiting from their decisions?
